I tried with 1.5.1.2 but Sync crashed again (on the PDA). Disableing Birdiesync and rebooting and Sync with Outlook worked again.Dominik wrote:Thanks a lot, I can try it next monday (when I'm back on office). I'll try 1.5.1.1 and post my experiences

> Dominik: When you say ActiveSync crashed, do you mean that the Desktop ActiveAsync crashed or did you get a "Synchronization error" in ActiveSync window ? Sorry I was away the last days. The desktop appl. did not crash or "said" something, it only tried further to sync. The application in (or at)...

> Dominik: Was it BirdieWatcher.exe that you renamed ? Only this file ? When you say "The problem IS 1.5.0.1", do you mean it's a BirdieSync problem or "I didn't have any problem with 1.4.0.x" ? Correct, only BirdieWatcher.exe was renamed and there was no problem with 1.4.0.x. AS crashes after read...

Sorry, it was AS 4.5 and Windows XP. Thanks. I have the same problem. AS 4.2 (!) and Outlook in the company. Active Sync IN the PDA crashes (look at "memory" there), shortly after sync started. I tried to only sync one topic at a time (cards or dates or ...) but nothing worked. When I renamed Birdi...

Today I tried 1.4.0.2 and installed it as Admin (not by "Running as", for with this the installation routine could not detect my PDA). Then I switched back to restricted user Session and everything worked. I think, installing using "running as" Admin won't go for now. But for me, everything works fi...

The logs and the JavaScript console would only be relevant with 1.4.0.1 But if you prefer to stick with 1.3.0.2 I would understand... I made some tests again with a restricted user account, but I don't succeed in reproducing the problem. I will try 1.4.0.1 next weekend again and then I'll send some...

If you use a restricted user account, you had to install BirdieSync under an administrator account. Then you must launch Thunderbird under the restricted user account and a wizard should launch to help you configure BirdieSync. Was it the case ? Yes, I did it excactly as you wrote. It is only possi...

1.4.0.1: No configuration possible
As I had problems configuring Thunderbird with Birdiesync 1.3.0.2 (working without Admin-rights), I installed 1.4.0.1 today. But with this release I can't configure Thunderbird. When I try this, I can't select any calendar or other item, even browsing to the Thunderbird directory isn't possible. No ...
