First sync very slow
Hi All, any thoughts on how to speed up first sync? I have a new phone and the events sync is taking 4+ hours and not half way through 5K of events. My problem is I don't sit in one spot for long enough to leave the phone connected..... Perhaps I could delete events out of the calender but that is t...

Re: Multiple categories in appointments
Lightning only supports one Category for appointments, so that will be the ultimate limitation

Versions & Upgrades of TB & Lightning
Hi Birdy Can we go ahead with suggested upgrade to Thunderbird 3.0.2? And if BS2 is ready to accomodate these minor upgrades, could you make a note somewhere about when BS will not accept upgrades of TB and Lightning. This is more relevant to L as I presume it is still in Beta? Many thanks Very glad...

Re: HELP!
Have you synced with Outlook on the desktop before, and is Outlook installed on the desktop? What are your settings in ActiveSync? You should be able find in AS - TOOLS - OPTIONS and this will show you the settings for each profile which is for each device, you might only have one. Also the terminol...

Re: Favorite list cleaned with syncronisation
Hi B
What are "people favourite" ?
I have a HTC Touch HD and don't have these. I do have speed dials set to the keypad, and these stay configured despite repeated syncs.
ciao BillyWill

Re: event calendar not properly loaded
More information please about your installation of Thunderbird and Lightning. What calenders do you have set up in Lightning, are they "local" calenders or are they synchronised with something else (Google Calender for instance) Did you previously have an installation of ActiveSync (if on Windows XP...

Should we update to the latest TBird?
My auto-update invited me too, but I declined pending advice from Birdie.

Hey ScotWitt this behaviour is not limited to beta testers...... If you have happened to witness the support of voters for leaders of most democra...

Re: Birdiesync 2 & Sync over TCP/IP
Hello, this feature would make the sync independent to USB connection and conserves from a hardware failure of the socket in time... ;-) Thx. For my own part, if the socket failed then the battery would go flat on the mobile device? This is the "other" reason I plug the mobile device into the USB c...

Re: BirdieSync 2.0.0.0 beta - bug reports
I'm using version 2.0.0.0-l. Now, sync is working fine, but, I've got a lot of duplicates in my contact-list. Using the removal-tool seems not to have any effect on these cards. Another problems has become to the contact-cards itself; a great couple of cards now have wrong e-mail-adresses, shuffled...

Re: BirdieSync 2.0.0.0 beta - bug reports
Have just loaded up the newest Lightning build and BirdieSync 2.0 beta l All going great ! I do have some duplicate birthdays and I think Lightning is still a bit lazy on some birthday handling (i realise now that these birthdays had been "adsorbed" from the various backups and exports I carried out...
