Hi Birdy, so, I can confirm "BirdieSync.exe*32" IS running while install. But it just closes with the installer. I'm running the installation as admin (I'm always admin) and even tried "run as administrator". There is no message (nothing about Thunderbird, too) when BirdieSync closes, doesn't matter...

Hey, thanks for your reply.
Even now with installed Lightning it just gets till "closing BirdieSync" and then is, like before, just... away!
What step follows "closing BirdieSync"? Installation on PPC? Maybe the really next step in the log may help.
