Re: Thunderbird 6.0 and 2.3.4.1

HI,

needless to say, but unfortunately I clicked on "Update" and now I have TB 6 without a working Birdiesync. Is there a way to roll back TB?

Cannot edit Contacts

Hello, somehow I obviously didn't try before, this is why I just noted: After updating to 2.3.3.2 I cannot edit the contacts (that are now in the Birdiesync Account). All information is displayed, i can create new contacts, but when I click on edit Contact, I only can change the name and Options (li...

Re: "Empty event Birdiesync account" message with 2.3.3

Hello,

again I am surprised how fast you react on such problems. 3 hours after posting my message my mobile asked to download a new version of Birdiesync (which solved this problem). Thanks a lot, support couldn't be better.

"Empty event Birdiesync account" message with 2.3.3

Hello, after updating to 2.3.3 the conversion of the contacts to the Birdiesync account works fine. Also the synchronisation of the Events seem to work fine. The only strange thing is that BS keep complaining about "Empty BirdieSync account", saying "Only Events present in BirdieSync account are syn...

Re: Battery drain in Androïd ?

Wow, that's what I call a great support. After installing the new version 2.3.2.2, the Sync icon disappeared. Also, the Birdiesync process can now be stopped and doesn't come up automatically. Didn't check the positive impact on battery time, but so far it looks good. Thanks a lot !!! Regards, Olli.B

Re: Battery drain in Androïd ?

Hello, @Birdy: I try to answer these questions and have a remark on the sync icon. Do you use BirdieSync in USB or Wi-Fi mode ? --> Both modes, but mostly USB because Wi-Fi fails sometimes because of a low signal If you use BirdieSync in Wi-Fi mode, do you always keep BirdieSync connected to the des...

Re: Battery drain in Androïd ?

Hi, I can confirm this. Since the last update Birdiesync seem to do sync attempts all the time. In the status line the sync arrows are always active. If you manually kill the birdiesync application, it restarts immediately. The behaviour was different and less agressive in the last version. This als...

Hi,

I am really impressed how fast this problem was solved. The current version BirdieSync 2.3.0.6 worked perfectly again. Thanks.

Android and Windows PC version mismatch

Hi, I have a big problem with mismatching versions. The latest version on the Android Market is 2.3.0.3. The only version downloadable for Windows PC is 2.3.0.4. This comes to an "unexpected error". When I was trying to sync 2.3.0.3 on the Android and 2.3.0.2 on the Windows PC I received a "version ...

Re: BS 2.2.0.0 pas de connexion avec le host

Hey, thanks for offering help. After reinstallling the program, the event sync worked. My contact sync broke down previously with an "unexpected error", but this could be fixed by deleting all contacts (>200) on my mobile device. Now I will try around to see if the content also looks good.

Hi there. This week I found a program that seem to fulfill the requirements we all have (to sync locally Thunderbird with Android). Since the latest version 1.8 Android is on their list. MyPhoneExplorer Please keep in mind it is donateware so please support the developer if you are satisfied. Unfort...
