Re: Clone settings for new phone?

Hello John, The problem is that each Android phone may need a different configuration because of different Manufacturer accounts, or Android versions. But since version 3.2.0.0 you may try to use BirdieSync assistant (BirdieSync menu "Assistant / Configure synchronization"). It should look at the cu...

Re: Thunderbird extension not initializing

I tested again the uninstallation but BirdieSync with option "Keep BirdieSync user data" ticked and configuration was properly kept untouched. Note that uninstalling BirdieSync app on the Android device is usually not recommended since it would remove all BirdieSync data including BirdieSync local a...

Re: Thunderbird extension not initializing

Hello brentl99, There might be a problem with Thunderbird add-on cache which doesn't properly load BirdieSync add-on. If you go in Thunderbird menu "Tools/Options" / "Advanced" panel / "Network & Disk space" tab / "Disk space", press "Clear now" button and then restart Thunderbird, does it help ? If...

Re: Unknown contacts storage on LG V30 (Android Oreo)

Actually, Configuration.txt would be one of the most important. If possible, BirdieSync.log files in server and Android source would be also interesting to check synchronization running. I usually prefer to have the full archive to get all available information to investigate. I understand your conc...

Re: Unknown contacts storage on LG V30 (Android Oreo)

Hello unambiguous, While your Android device is connected to BirdieSync server, could you please build a log archive with BirdieSync menu "Help/Archive logs..." and send BirdieSyncLog.zip to support(at)birdiesync.com ? When you say contact groups are empty, you mean that when you filter contacts by ...

Re: Syncronisation crashes after upgradeing to IOS 12

Hello Fritz, When you say "crashes", do you mean that BirdieSync server exits on the PC ? Or do you have an error message (which one) in BirdieSync server on the PC or a disconnection of the iPhone ? When you say restart, do you mean that BirdieSync app on the iPhone reconnects itself to BirdieSync ...

Re: conflicts

Regarding the events which keep to be synchronized, it may be possible that iCloud modifies these events shortly after they are written on the iPhone, leading to a new synchronization back to Thunderbird. To investigate on the problem, I may need to trace the events in conflict and the events you cr...

It may be necessary to replace this version of Lightning with a gold version: 6.2 You may try to reinstall Lightning extension (it should be availab...
