Access to BirdieSync Android app without Google Play account

Since I am following the idea to use my Android smartphone without using a Google Play account at all, I am interested in 3rd party repositories and simply downloadable .apk's. Can you imagine to offer the BirdieSync Android app (apk) via your website without forcing your customers to use the Google...

It is indeed a custom Rom (CM9) on my HTC Desire (Bravo). Thank you for your reply, though.

Sorry for forgetting to reply. I now swapped to use the google account without syncing it with google, though I still would like a native local solution. I used to sync from a Thunderbird addressbook to the birdieSync (Phone) account on my ICS mobile which was the default account within the birdie s...

Does BirdieSync see any other option to prevent this from happening?
I really enjoy the idea of having a local phone contacts db-table on the phone, that will never ever be synced with google, but just with my Thunderbird via BirdieSync.

It does happen after a reboot. I decided against not syncing my contacts with google and I did not even place them in the google account. They are all created by BirdieSync within the BirdieSync account but after a reboot, they are all part of my google account. Then as well the next sync fails due ...

Unbelievable that i need to look that long and despaired for a good solution to sync my online .ics calendar file with my android phone without using google in between. Please keep on working to support Mozilla Lightning syncronisation with androids within the next release. :) The day this is workin...
