Re: Aaaaa! Ginormous BirdieWatcher.log!
Birdy, did you get a chance to go over the full log I sent? Can the log at least be set to only write a certain # of these type of exception, or have BirdieWatcher truncate the log after it grows to a certain size? This is happening with more and more frequency, and each time I need to kill BirdieWa...

Re: Aaaaa! Ginormous BirdieWatcher.log!
Not that I know of! I do have a Program Files folder on my storage card, but there is no BirdieSync folder on it. Is there anyplace else it could be picking it up from?
I was planning to upgrade to 1.6.4.0 when I get the chance anyway, should I just wipe out the preferences when I do?

Re: Aaaaa! Ginormous BirdieWatcher.log!
This issue occurred for me again. I'm still using 1.6.3.0 and my logfile was 29M. It is filled over and over again with lines such as the following; multiple times per second: Local 07/01/2008 09:52:33::0000 ERROR: Error in locating beginning while extracting value: buffer = <object class = "Prefere...

Aaaaa! Ginormous BirdieWatcher.log!
My PPC kept complaining about running out of flash memory and I couldn't figure out where it was all going... only to find that my BirdieWatcher.log file is now 33M! That's half of my flash memory... is there a setting somewhere to keep the logfile below a certain size? I'm using 1.6.3.0. [edit: cor...

Lightning 0.7 + BirdieSync = amazing!
Wow, Lightning 0.7 support on the very first day it's available! Great job Birdy! I've been using Lightning 0.7 + BirdieSync 1.6.3.0 for about 5 minutes now and it's wonderful! The UI in Lightning is now finally getting close to parity with Outlook... switching between Mail and Calendar is now a bre...

Thanks for the reply Birdy, I am running Windows Mobile 5 with ActiveSync 4.5. I believe I have seen the behavior you describe with Events but not with Contacts/Cards; I don't believe I've ever had a problem with unresolved items or conflicts with those types. Sometimes it looks like it automaticall...

To further compound my problem, I can't even un-select the Outlook "Contacts" in ActiveSync because it says "To proceed, ActiveSync must remove all Contacts on your Pocket PC. Do you want to continue?" Grrrr!! Lazy !#@(&! Microsoft programmers... please bring this feature back to work around this br...

can no longer sync w/ outlook
I just upgraded to the latest version and found that BirdieSync now completely refuses to sync both Thunderbird address book and Outlook contacts. I realize there is a "warning" against doing this which can possibly lead to conflicts but I have never had a problem with it. I can understand you may w...

Notify of new versions
Is there any way to get notified when a new version is released? I couldn't find any RSS or Notify options for the News thread.

Lightning 0.5?
Now that Lightning 0.5 is in Release Candidate status, is there any official word on whether it's supported by BirdieSync? Is it OK to try it out or should we hold off for the "official" version?
