Re: Privacy Policy for BirdieSync ?
Hi Birdy, I know it was a bumpy ride getting the latest version out, but now that it's out and you're requiring more money, can you clarify a couple things about your clients data and usage? 1) Contacts and Calendar data are not accessed by BirdieSync other than between the devices of the client. Is...

Re: Birdiesync 3.0 - final version after test period
Thanks Birdie.
There is considerable complexity added to this new version--at least to the GUI. It took some tinkering, but it looks like I was able to do the simple sync of address book and calendar.
Cheers,
BF

Yes.
I'm in the same boat as you, UlliB: have not synched in a month while waiting for ver 3.x to come out of Beta.

Re: Birdiesync 3.0 - final version after test period
Hi Birdie,
How is it looking for moving from Beta?
Sounds like most of the bugs are gone and it would be great to install without registering with Google (sort a major reason for selecting BirdieSync)
Thanks,
Longtime BirdieFan

Hey Birdie,
It's been a while...
Should we be nervous about the lack of reply to this thread?

Privacy Policy for BirdieSync ?
Hi Birdie, I was talking up BirdieSync to a friend in InfoSec because I was feeling clever about not having my entire address book in Google's cloud. He asked what guarantees I had that my solution is more trustworthy than Google and that my personal data is not used by BirdieSync. I've looked the s...

Re: Adding contacts on ICS (Ice Cream Sandwich)
I am willing to test your new ICS version Birdie. I'm considering upgrading to the Galaxy S3 on verizon, but will wait until there is a way to privately sync the calendar and contacts.
Thanks.

Re: Adding contacts on ICS (Ice Cream Sandwich)
Hi Birdy, I am definitely interested in finding a way to use BirdieSync in ICS without having to port the contacts into the primary google account. I have backed out of ICS and stuck with gingerbread largely because of this issue. Anything you can do to work around the Android "hijacking" of the con...

Re: Adding contacts on ICS (Ice Cream Sandwich)
There's been a hijacking, Birdie! :x I upgraded my Incredible to a version of Ice Cream Sandwich (I've tried 2), wiping everything off of the phone in the process. Ran the full synchronization with events and contacts coming across fine: Contacts in the Phone (Default) account; Events in BirdieSync ...

Re: Contacts Not Syncing to TB
No. I'm not running stock. As soon as the Incredible was rooted, I stepped away from the HTC Sense interface. I'm running MIUI 11209. It's a good looking and fast ROM based on Gingerbread (Android Version 2.3.5) Is there a way I can tell where it is putting the contacts? Which account it is associat...

Contacts Not Syncing to TB
Hi Birdie, I have HTC Incredible, running Birdie 2.3.7.0 Windows XP, ThunderBird 9.0.1 and BirdieSync 2.3.9.0 Noticed that Contacts created on the android are not synching back to TB. Default Contact Account is Phone and neither of the other two accounts are checked (or used for contacts). I wiped T...
