SPAM

It happens again and again in this forum that SPAM is posted. On other forums I follow, this ia a phenomenon that has disappeared since quite some time. Is your forum software out-of-date that it can't filter SPAM properly or what else might be the reason? It is quite annoying.

Re: BirdieSync 3.0.1.1 is not kopatible to Thunderbird 45.2.0

On my PC running Windows 7 64bit, Thunderbird V.45.2.0 and BirdieSync 3.0.1.1, I just synchronized my address book with my iPad. It worked like a charm. No problems at all.

Re: Thunderbird 45.0

Did you stop Thunderbird during the install? If Thunderbird is running, the add-on cannot be replaced.

Re: Birdiesync 3.0 - final version after test period

You cannot hold your paying customers from upgrading Thunderbird any longer. There are security patches that need to be applied. you can always use the beta , i do :) I don't. Policy. I like BirdieSync but if it doesn't come out of beta pretty soon I'll have to find something else. Good policy. If ...

Signing up for the beta for iOS is a pain in the neck. I looked at the procedure and decided to keep away from this.

After looking at the procedure to install the beta on my iPad I decided to not try this. Recently, I upgraded to TBird 38.2.0 and disabled Birdiesync. I'll wait for the final version before I'll sync my address book again.

Re: Birdiesync 3.0 - final version after test period

I see the test period dragging out a bit. The problems however that are coming up don't seem to affect my environment: TB on Windows 7 x64 syncing only the address book with an iPad 2 running iOS 8.4. I'd like to upgrade to TB 38.1 and of course I would need to use the beta version of BirdieSync 3.0...

Re: Thunderbird extension initialisation failure

Hi, I'm using ThunderBird V.31.3.0 with BirdieSync V.2.4.10 (Extension and PC Program). BirdieSync version on the iPad is 2.3.9. Address book sync is working nicely.
Are you using Windows?

Re: Duplicates on iPod, Email Address missing in Thunderbird

I had the same problem with missing email addresses in synchronization between my iPad 2 and Thunderbird. The problem stopped when I switched the synchronization of the iPad address book with the iCloud off. Since then, the address book is no longer synced with the Windows contacts but the changes f...

Re: iCloud affects BirdieSync

As long as I had enabled the synchronization of the contacts on my iPad with iCloud, I always had problems with contacts losing their email address in Birdie when syncing with T-Bird. In the sync process with iCloud, the email type was always changed from "private" to "other". In the next Birdie syn...

Re: Mailadresses are deleted

I had a very similar problem with my iPad and Thunderbird. Again and again, the mail addresses on the iPad changed from "home" to "other" and then after the next Birdie sync the mail addresses were gone from Thunderbird. I finally found out that the type change occurred every time after I synced the...

Re: Email address wrong position

I used to have big problems with the synchronization of email adresses with BirdieSync. On the iPad, I'm using the app ContactsXL to manage the address book. Again and again, it happened that after synchronization, email addresses on the iPad were changed from "private email address" to "other email...
