Connects, but won't sync!
I have an old XP PC & a Samsung S3 Mini. I'm currently on Thunderbird 45.0 & Birdiesync 3.0.1.1. I have 2 wifi sources in my house, one Plusnet box upstairs & one TP-Link downstairs. For some time I have only been able to sync through the downstairs link. Upstairs says the phone is connected, but no...

Re: Thunderbird 45.0
Thank you. That's done it. The uninstall route did cross my mind, but I was nervous of getting it wrong. Having the proper instructions gave me all the confidence I needed... I did think for a moment that this update had cured the connection problem I have, but it hasn't. For some reason, though my ...

Re: Thunderbird 45.0
Yes, I shut down Thunderbird before doing the install. I tried it more than once. Still getting the same notification.

Re: Thunderbird 45.0
I've upgraded to 45.0. I've upgraded to BS 3.0.1.1. Now Thunderbird says: BirdieSync incompatible. It says I'm still using 3.0.0.9. I've tried re-installing BS, following all the instructions, but Thunderbird won't see the new version. I've updated several times in the past without problems. What ha...

Re: PC can't find phone anymore
Thank you for your reply, Birdy. My setting on the phone was originally the IP address, but for some time now it's been the hostname. The Birdiesync server seems to just have one address. I've just done a restart of Birdiesync - still says "single source connected". The single source seems to be the...

Re: PC can't find phone anymore
I tried again this morning & it's now working. I managed to sync yesterday but only connecting via the USB. I didn't try wifi again then. Maybe that woke it up, or maybe having the computer off overnight cured it... It's even working via the upstairs wifi today - the first time for weeks! Computers ...

PC can't find phone anymore
I'm using BS3. It was working fine, though I had an occasional problem. I have 2 WiFi points in my home: one upstairs is a Plusnet router, the other downstairs is a TP-Link unit. If I connected the Samsung phone via the downstairs WiFi, the Birdiesync connected & synced. If I connected the phone via...

Re: Sync 3 ways
Thank you for the info. I was intending to import the Home.ics file to the laptop that I had exported from my desktop calendar as a start, assuming that would give me matching calendars. I will ensure only one computer is on/connected when I sync. If I mistakenly did a BirdieSync sync between the de...

Sync 3 ways
I have successfully synced Lightning on my desktop to my Android mobile via my wireless network using BirdieSync! :D I now plan to buy a laptop. Of course, I will install Thunderbird & Lightning, & so I thought I'd need BirdieSync too. Then I wondered - when I run BirdieSync on the mobile with deskt...
