Re: How to delete accounts or account events no longer in us

Birdie,

I somehow missed that you meant only contacts, not events. I deleted the events from the calendars I'm not using and all seems fine.

I really like the program and the support you provide. I'll be registering as soon as the trial period is up.

Thanks!

Re: How to delete accounts or account events no longer in us

Hi Birdy, Thanks for the info. I had totally missed this menu. The last sentence confuses me a little bit. Maybe you can help me understand. I have the BirdieSync account set up to synchronize. I do have a Motorola phone. In my case Is it ok to delete events in the local@phone account? My Phone acco...

How to delete accounts or account events no longer in use

Hi Birdy, I know this isn't exactly a BirdieSync question, but I thought you would know the answer. If I go into BirdieSync on my phone and look at Events options, I see the following counts: Phone: 0 Motorola: 1489 BirdieSync: 1775 local@phone: 857 I think the local@phone events are the ones from m...

Re: Contact sync question / problem

Birdy,

OK... I'll take a look at that. I'm not too worried about the difference. I'll find it eventually.

Thanks!

Re: Contact sync question / problem

Hello Birdie, Since I posted I have added three contacts to Thunderbird, so now Thunderbird shows 212, BirdieSync on the PC shows 210, and my phone contact list shows 208. The difference between 212 and 210 is the fact that I have 2 distribution lists, which I mentioned earlier. If I open the Birdie...

Re: Contact sync question / problem

Hello Birdy, I am using version 2.4.5.2. Ah... I had read that about distribution lists in the FAQ or help, but it hadn't clicked for me. That would explain how Thunderbird says 209 and BirdieSync says 207. I have 2 distribution lists. As for the discrepancy between BirdieSync and my phone (207 vs 2...

Re: Calendar sync question

Birdy,

Thanks so much for the explanation. I can always disconnect my device at this point. An enhancement would be welcomed in the future.

Thanks!

Re: Hot to set an new Calender in birdiesync???

Hello, I am having a similar question. I am successfully syncing the 7 calendars that were in Thunderbird when I installed BirdieSync. I am syncing to my phone from my desktop. Now i have added another calendar to Thunderbird and have added an event to that calendar. If it makes any difference, the ...

Contact sync question / problem

I am a bit confused. I just started using BirdieSync. I have two android devices and my desktop. I sync my desktop to my phone and to my tablet. On my desktop I have 209 contacts in Thunderbird. I synced my phone telling BirdieSync to replace the entries on my phone. I did the same for my tablet. No...

Re: Calendar sync question

Hello Birdy, I must have not stated the problem very well. I knew about that setting and have it deselected. No sync starts now when I connect my phone. However, the problem I'm having is that if I connect my phone to my desktop using wi-fi, and I go into my calendar on my phone and delete an event,...

Calendar sync question

I am a new user who downloaded the trial version of BirdieSync today. I looked through the forum and faq's, but can't seem to find an answer to this. If my android phone is connected to BirdieSync at the time I delete an event on the phone, it starts a sync going. I really don't want to have any aut...
