Re: Birdiesync 3.0 - final version after test period
Good policy. If you find an alternative, please let us know. I never did find a decent alternative-other than to stop using TBird and I'm not sure I consider that a 'decent' alternative. Now that Birdiesync 3 is out of beta I've installed it. I can't say everything is good because it obviously need...

I don't. Policy. I like BirdieSync but if it doesn't come out of beta pretty soon I'll have to find something else.Spider wrote:you can always use the beta , i doJanDoggen wrote:You cannot hold your paying customers from upgrading Thunderbird any longer. Re: Deletions from Lightning not syncing
Sorry for the delay, I apparently didn't get notified when you posted your reply, Birdy although I was notified when jamesjogi posted his. Yes, it still happens. You mentioned using a daily event to test this-did you mark it as an all day event? That appears to be the trigger. I used a weekly event ...

Re: Birdiesync & adb not shutting down from Task Manager
I haven't re-installed Birdiesync. It's sandboxed because Comodo no longer 'knows' that I trust it. It used to but apparently one of the Comodo updates reset the rules back to default. I'm not happy about that but it's not your problem. I'm not sure what you mean by a link but I can't reproduce it s...

Birdiesync & adb not shutting down from Task Manager
First, the *real* problem is that my firewall got reset to default & sandboxed first Birdiesinc & then adb. This might be a firewall problem so I'm talking to Comodo about this too but they're blaming Birdiesync (surprise, surprise-it's *always* somebody else's problem, right?). So, the problem is t...

Re: Deletions from Lightning not syncing
Sorry this has taken me so long to pin down but I finally found out how to reproduce the problem at will. It appears to only affect repetitive all day events. I've been using that for 'reminders' of things I need to do on specific days but not at specific times, such as paying bills. I've changed th...

Re: Deletions from Lightning not syncing
I use the calendar app that came pre-installed on my Samsung Galaxy Note 2. Samsung could have modified or replaced it but I don't see any sign of them doing so (e.g. a different name than 'Calendar'). Right now I don't have a scenario any better than the one you unsuccessfully tried. There are seve...

Deletions from Lightning not syncing
This problem is probably somewhere in my settings but so far I haven't been able to find it. I have numerous repetitive events in Lightning. Typically after an event happens I'll delete the occurrence in Lightning. The problem is that the occurrence doesn't get deleted in the Android calendar when I...

Why not just exit?
After syncing I shut down BirdieSync on my PC because it's bad practice to leave apps running that you aren't using. It's very annoying that 1) I can't shut it down using the standard Close button (Red X) and 2) when I shut it down using File|Exit it stupidly asks me if I really want to do this. Sur...

Re: Android-does BirdieSync create a new calendar?
Thank you. I think that tells me what I need to know. So far BirdieSync has been wonderful. I think I can streamline things somewhat as I gain experience-right now I sync with a separate addressbook in TBird because I've got a lot of 'junk' in my Personal address book that I don't want on my phone. ...

Android-does BirdieSync create a new calendar?
I'm new to both Android & BirdieSync. Everything is working fine on the Thunderbird end but I'm confused by the messages I get from BirdieSync when I select calendars other than the BirdieSync calendar on my phone. Can BirdieSync synchronize the local phone calendar? Is it a naming problem? I notice...
