Thanks for that but I'm still confused. What is the point of BirdieSync being able to work with portable TB/Lightning if it is not itself portable? If you can't take BirdieSync with you, then you can't sync while on the road, which I thought was the point of *portable*.

I'd like to use BirdieSync to sync my iPhone's calendar to Thunderbird/Lightning. I saw a conversation, from some time ago, in this forum that BirdiSync can now recognise Portable TB/Lightning.
