How to transfer configuration to new machine?
I'm installing a new Windows 10 PC and would like to transfer the synchronization settings from the previous Windows 7 PC to the new one. I installed Thunderbird, used MozBackup to transfer all data, installed BirdieSync and set up my account - now what is the next step? (It does not have to be wire...

Please update your website certificate to also accept links without www
I someone goes to https://birdiesync.com instead of https://www.birdiesync.com (e.g. when clicking a search result link) the browser gives a certificate error. Here is the Firefox warning: birdiesync.com uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate is only valid for www.birdiesync.com. Erro...

Re: Birdiesync 3.0 - final version after test period
Thanks for releasing. I have updated Thunderbird and BirdieSync. I concur with other people's opinions that the interface is just too complicated. That was already the case in 2.x and even more in 3.0 You have to let some first time users look at the interface, listen to them, and be willing to rewr...

Re: Birdiesync 3.0 - final version after test period
Sorry BirdieSync people but you have to get your act together and release the 3 version officially.
It's been how long now? - 3-4 months at least.
You cannot hold your paying customers from upgrading Thunderbird any longer. There are security patches that need to be applied.

Re: Device detected twice
I have updated Thunderbird [it already started complaining that Birdysinc 2.4.9.0 was not compatible wih the new version 31 ;-) ], Lightning and BirdieSync on the PC, removed and re-installed it on the Android. Birdiesync gives me warnings about mass operations it's going to do, so that made the tra...

Re: Invalid (self-signed) certificate used for the forum
No, the issue happens everytime you go to the forum through https: instead of http: This has nothing to do with hacking, the forum infrastructure is not in order. So either disable https or use a proper certificate (not a self-signed one) The point is that I got a mailing containing the https: link....

Invalid (self-signed) certificate used for the forum
You are using an invalid (self-signed) certificate on the forum I added a 'me too' report to an existing issue and received an email notification of a reply pointing to: https://www.birdiesync.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=1669&p=8610#p8610 When I followed this link, Firefox warned me that you are u...

Re: Device detected twice
I have the same issue on my FairPhone model 1. It has 2 SIM card slots but only 1 SIM card. Android 4.2, BirdieSync 2.4.8.0 When this happens I have to go through the entire sequence of making a backup first, switching "devices" and hoping everything goes OK. Activating both devices does not seem to...
