Re: ... for Mac?

Well, it's been almost a year since the last update. And this is now something that I'd be very interested in too. So... any news?

I don't, I'm afraid.

But thanks for you help - and for this version. I'll let you know if I find any other anomalies. But overall it's looking good.

Re: BirdieSync 2.3.3.2 beta (Thunderbird 3.1)

OK, found my missing events. :)

For some reason, the calendar was only showing the PC Sync calendar, while all my events were in the Home calendar.

Re: BirdieSync 2.3.3.2 beta (Thunderbird 3.1)

Could you tell me if you synchronize one or several accounts for events ? Just the one. (I have two calendars in Thunderbird - Home and EnglishHolidays. But it's only configured to synchronise the former). Would you see a reason for these 21 events ? (for instance the number of events in an account...

BirdieSync 2.3.3.2 beta (Thunderbird 3.1)

Wasn't sure where the best place to post feedback on this version was (as I can't reply to the release thread). So hopefully this is it! I'm really hopeful about this version, as I much preferred BirdieSync before the BirdieSync account was required, so I'm happy to do any beta testing I can. I'm st...

Re: Add New Contact from SMS

Thanks robb for the detailed explanation. 1. Generally you know which field it is just looking at what you entered. It was a good way to minimize scrolling. But I understand that it would be more confusing If that was the case, then it wouldn't be an issue. But sometimes, with an old contact, it's ...

Re: Add New Contact from SMS

Juts got 2.3.3.2 and it seems to be working fine. Thanks for the quick fix. :D With regards to the interface... Because the BirdieSync Contact field names disappear when you enter data into the fields, in can be a bit confusing knowing which field is which when editing a contact. I like the concept ...

Re: Add New Contact from SMS

Same here (with the release version). I can understand why the new BirdieSync Contact is required. (Although I really wish that it wasn't, as I much prefer the user interface for adding contacts to People.) However, being unable to create a new contact with the number displayed seems to be a major o...

Re: Random deletions on Android

Hi Birdy, Thanks for the reply. Which version of BirdieSync do you use ? Is it 2.3.2.2 ? Yes it is. (And Thunderbird 3.1.10 with Lightning 1.0b2.) Regarding the deletions of events, did you set a synchronization period in BirdieSync event options ? No, it's set to "Unlimited". It's a different matte...

Thanks Stephen. I haven't tried that. Maybe I'll give it a whirl. (Although this happens to events as well as contacts...)

Re: Random deletions on Android

Despite resetting synchronisation for contacts, it seemed that at least on of my contacts has "gone wrong". Just got a text from them, and my conversation with them showed their number instead of their name (even though they were still in my address book, with that number!) However, this looks less ...

Random deletions on Android

I love BirdieSync. But occasionally when I synchronise my handset, BirdieSync will tell me that it needs to delete, say, 10 contacts or 40 events from the handset because I've deleted them from the desktop. However, I know that I haven't - so I have to reset synchronisation to ensure that it's carri...

HTML emails synchronised as text-only

HTML emails in Thunderbird end up as text-only emails in Outlook Mobile whenever I synchronise. If I go to Menu > Tools > Options > Outlook E-mail > Next > Next > Next > E-mail > Settings then it shows "Message Format" as "HTML" (although Email is un ticked - otherwsie it attempts to synchronise wit...
