I'm confused

I posted this yesterday but it's vanished!

I've just had to reinstall XP on my PC so I've installed the latest version. I used to have version 1.6.0.2 and it happily synced both Outlook and Thunderbirs, but now this is no longer possible.

As I need this dual sync, why is the case now?

Can't install 1.6.0.1

When I tried to install 1.6.0.1, I got an error in my mobile saying there was an error running BirdieSync and to restart my mobile. however, the same error pops up on restart.

I've had to re-install 1.5.7.2 to get it working again.

Help please?
