Re: Androïd
The contract on my WinMob phone ends in a few months' time - and it'll be my last WinMob phone, as it's clear that application developers are starting to move away from Windows towards Android. So that's where I'm going. Wouldn't it be great if by the time I switched over we had a working BirdieSync...

Re: Windows 7 and blank dialog box
The new 1.7.2 version seems to have resolved this issue, thank you.

Windows 7 and blank dialog box
I'm running Windows 7 64-bit and the latest Thunderbird and Birdiesync. The sync works but with just a couple of glitches: 1. At the start of each connected session, a blank dialog box pops up with the word error in the title field. That's it - no other message. Click it, it goes away, the sync proc...

Re: Original date = UTC 01/01/1601
Hello birdie
1. There's no pop-up window
2. Calendar is not read-only
3. I'm using 1.7.0.4 (see original message)
4. I'm not using experimental cache mode
So I've sent you the logs. Thanks for your help.

Original date = UTC 01/01/1601
I'm still have a problem with syncing events from my TyTN II back to Thunderbird. Syncing from PC to mobile works fine but every event I now create on the mobile device shows in the Birdiesync Deskop Provider log as having an original date of 01/01/1601 (see below for full entry) - even though the e...

Re: Cannot sync consistently
Problem resolved: I use ZoneAlarm 6.5.737 and AVG 8.0 free version on Windows XP SP2. The sync was working with both products active and I didn't recall changing anything when the sync decided to stop working. However, I must have switched the ZA firewall setting. Through trial and error, I've estab...

Re: Cannot sync consistently
I'm having the same problem - will send you my logs - thanks Birdie.
Re: SMS Sync
I find that specifying ANY TB mail account as due for synchronisation in ActiveSync's options results in error messages - usually 'Attention required' - and a lack of any syncing at all. This is on an HTC Kaiser/TyTN II and the latest rev of Thunderbird. I have an email account set up as SMS, with f...

Thanks for the fast response. The slow slow sync started happening after I started experiencing a Birdiesync startup error - the dialog that advises that you to reset the machine. I did this and it makes no difference. The TyTN II has over 50% memory remaining, which is enough (or it has been in the...

Very very slow sync
I'm having a slow sync problem with my HTC TyTN II (WM6 Pro): every item - whether a card, event or task -- takes two or three seconds per item to sync. The USB link works fine, and the machine is a dual core Pentium so there's plenty of horsepower to spare. For a flavour of what this means, it took...

BirdieSync - a great job
No affiliation but I just wanted to say thanks for a great piece of software - and for fast response to an emailed problem - before I'd even paid for the product.
