Ahah! You are right - I didn't know this and it's only become an issue since starting to sync with Google &/or Lightning calendars that don't have this issue!

By creating a new test calendar in Lightning and a process of trial & error I have found that if the start and end dates of an event are in different years, *and* the day of the month of the end date is the same or later than the day of the month of the start date the sync will fail with unresolved ...

I have been getting the same issue ever since starting to sync *some* Google calendars - which I must add is a great feature! However I don't think it's anything to do with the item having the same start and end dates. See sample log below: Local 15/01/2008 13:00:15::0000 BirdieSync: version 1.6.3.0...
