Re: Androïd

While birdie is working on a new android version, MyPhoneExplorer might be a solution for people. It successfully syncs contacts and calendar between Thunderbird and Android.

Re: Postbox compatibility

Hi Birdie, Now that version 2 of your plugin has been released, is there any chance on support for Postbox? As that is based on TB3 code, I assume it shouldn't have to be that much a problem? It would really make a huge difference in usability! More than willing to pay for a new version if I could u...

Re: BirdieSync 2.0.0.0 beta - bug reports

Birdie,

Am I reading correctly that this version is TB 3 Only? So no support for TB2?
Also, when will there be a version for Postbox? Because now there is no way to upgrade functionality unless I switch to TB3 (which I don't want to, having postbox covers all my needs).

Re: Postbox compatibility

That's very good news birdie! The postbox community seems to be growing quite fast! For now I'll be switching to sunbird only and face the fact that I won't be able to sync contacts (calendar is more important to me), but hopefully in the near future I can use your wonderfull program in combi with p...

Postbox compatibility

Hi Birdie, Recently, I got interested in looking into other mail applications that would give me more user experience than just Thunderbird with all its extensions. Thunderbird still is a great product, but using it over time got me irritated by a few quircks and misbehaviors which I just expected t...

Re: All invitations from past has been sent

I can confirm this issue, but I'm not using the google calendar; just lightning. Everytime I do a ROM upgrade or reinstall birdiesync, all invitation reply's get sent again. At least, that is how it appears to be, because while you do see all of them in your sent-box, I've never heard from people ab...

Re: photos contacts

Hi Birdie,

Since it has been a while since this request made the news, I'd want to kick it a little bit; do you have any idea whether the photo's in TBs address books can get synchronized? Outlook is doing it and it's a pitty that the contact photo's on the WM6 device get lost...

Re: Syncing with Lightning .9?

Look in the News subforum; there is a new beta out there which supports lightning 0.9. When 0.9 goes final, its almost certain that Birdiesync will work on it.

I'm also quite interested in this. Together with the upcoming lightning 0.9 support, this would make thunderbird+plugins with birdiesync definately an outlook-killer...

Re: my thoughts

Heh, I can tell you that if you want to move customers away from that ugly Outlook, you'd have to be able to tell them that things (roughly) stay the way they are so the transformation is as easy as possible. Synchronisation is essential in business environments and for BirdieSync being one of the f...

Re: Lightning 0.9pre

As the 0.9pre version of lightning is quite widely used, are there any means to make birdiesync compatible over time? Or will that only be when the 0.9 def. version of lightning shows up?
