Re: Starting synchronization forever

Hello kraus13, If you press "Stop" button after the synchronization starting hangs, does it stop the synchronization ? If yes can you generate a log archive with BirdieSync menu "Help/Archive logs...", then send BirdieSyncLog.zip to support(at)birdiesync.com If you cannot stop the synchronization, k...

Re: cannot find local host

Hello prn, So when you connect your Android device via USB, you never see your Android device appear in BirdieSync Synchronization view on the PC ? If yes, it would mean that BirdieSync doesn't detect that the Android device is plugged to the PC. If you restart BirdieSync (menu File/Exit, then relau...

Re: Birdiesync 3.0 - final version after test period

I'm aware that the new interface may seam more complicated and require some time to adapt to it. BirdieSync will continue to evolve in the future. There is already a user manual (you can have a look at menu Help/Help where you'll find various information) and a few configuration examples described i...

Re: standard TB Adressbook

Hello mcstoned, I'll add some precisions. "No group" means "All the contacts which are not assigned to any group". Or in other words "Contacts without group". To display these contacts, you may have to select "All contacts" to be displayed on your device (it may display contacts belonging to any gro...

Re: reoccurring event

Hello cwavontuur,

Could you please give a more detailed example of your recurring event ?
At which date did it start ?
Which frequency did you set ? (daily, weekly, etc.)
When I limit the reoccuring to a week in the past in Thunderbird
Could you tell me how you achieved this ?

Thanks.

Re: Completely lost with new interface

Hello Daniel, Configuration changed a lot with the new user interface compared to version 1.x. So it may take time to get used to it. Efforts will continue to be made to make the configuration process easier. My first dumb approach was to select one addressbook in TB and one in phone in my sources: ...

Re: can't get birdiesync to find thunderbird

A memory problem was identified and fixed in last version 3.0.0.0 for Windows Mobile. But if you synchronize an important number of events (or other items), that may lead to a crash of BirdieSync on Windows Mobile device which has a limited memory. So reducing the number of events to synchronize by ...

Re: Birdiesync 3.0 - final version after test period

BirdieSync 3.0 has been released on the App Store, Google Play and BirdieSync web site. Note that it is still possible to synchronize with BirdieSync 2.x server with a 3.0 app (there is a switch in BirdieSync app settings to support BirdieSync 2.x). This version has a lot of changes compared to vers...
