@Chris: I understood well that you had no problem in calDAV mode. But actually since it hasn't been possible to presently reproduce this problem with Google Calendar Provider, any (other) user which still has these failures may send its logs to support for analysis.

Could you please build a log archive with menu "Tools/Archive logs..." and send BirdieSyncLog.zip file to support(at)birdiesync.com ?

Hello Mike,

BirdieSync beta version 23 has been released. Please use BirdieSync "Help/Check for update" to install this new version.
Android and iPhone updates have also been published but there could be a small delay before they are available on Google Play and App Store.
