Re: Duplicating address book.......

Hello Peter,

Could you please build a log archive with menu "Tools/Archive logs..." and send BirdieSyncLog.zip file to support(at)birdiesync.com ?
That may help to analyze the problem.
Thanks.

Which past synchronization period was selected in Event configuration for your Windows Mobile device and Thunderbird (Con...

Re: Upgrade from v2

Hello sgay, Ideally, if you have the same event present on both the iPhone and in Thunderbird and choose "Combine" option, BirdieSync should recognize the events as identical and not transfer and copy them to the other source, duplicating them. So at the end of synchronization, the 2 events should b...

Actually the answer was sent to the email address you used to contact info (and it's the same email address that you used to register on the forum (I've just checked)). So please check that the answer was not considered as spam and moved to your Junk folder. If you haven't received it, send a mail a...

Hello Maiskolben, The installation of the beta for Android relies on the usual way to install BirdieSync app from Google Play, as described in the procedure to install the beta . Now I can understand that you don't want at all to have a Google account on your device, even if you could also disable G...

Re: BirdieSync 3.x beta 22 has reached end of eval period

Hello Mike,

BirdieSync beta version 23 has been released. Please use BirdieSync "Help/Check for update" to install this new version.
Android and iPhone updates have also been published but there could be a small delay before they are available on Google Play and App Store.

Re: iPhone WiFi Configuration

Hello jz8, Which version is installed on your iPhone ? Is it version 2.x or the beta version 3.0 ? (you can check by pressing the (i) button at the bottom right of BirdieSync app main screen on the iPhone) If you still have version 2.x, then you need to install the beta version 3.0 for iPhone: http:...

Re: Getting Started Help, page 4 - diagram dissapears

Hello Mike, Actually the picture on the right depends on the step which is selected (for instance "Select "Configuration panel"). If you click on "First steps", it unselects the currently selected step, making disappear the associated diagram. I'll see if it's possible to maintain the selection even...

Hello Herb, I'm very pleased to, at long last, be able to synchronize my Thunderbird address books. However, my contact lists don't get updated, which is a significant problem for me. Re: No default account specified in event config - unable 2

Hello Irwin, In source "LG-P880" it is not possible to define/click to a default account, because the relating box is greyed. In BirdieSync server window on the PC, in Configuration panel, when you select source "LG-P880" and then select "Events" in Contents column, when you press the gear icon abov...

Re: WIFI Connection to Android

Hello GvT,

Note that passwords are case sensitive (which is no longer the case for user name). You can also click on the icon on the right of the user password field on the PC to display the new password you type.
I sent you a private message to ask you for more information.
