SittigSuperstar > Did you start Thunderbird to configure BirdieSync ? I think that it should create this directory automatically.
Let birdietransfer.exe be started automatically (so the answer is "no")
I think that for the moment, the problem comes from the missing log directory.

Could you also check that the directory C:\Documents and Settings\<user name>\Application Data\BirdieSync\Log\ exists ?

birdietransfer.exe is absolutely necessary to communicate with the mobile. Did you authorize it if you have a firewall ?
Could you tell me exactly the error you get when you launch it manually ?
Notice that your mobile must be connected.

Just for information, it seems that this error can be raised when BirdieSync is installed without administrator rights.

With new version 1.4.0.0, it should be possible to install BirdieSync under an administrator account and run it under a restricted user account.

Hello Robert, Well, let's deal with this problem before the new year. :) Do you succeed in synchronizing from the desktop to the mobile ? Is it only from the device to the desktop that you have problems ? Do you only have problems with appointments (not with contacts) ? If you create an appointment ...

Thank you for your suggestion. Technically, it would be feasible since all the general mechanisms for mail synchronization will be implemented. For the moment, I don't know yet if this feature will be offered and when. But it could be interesting.

Hello,

It doesn't seem the same problem (I will very likely split this post, don't be surprised).

I will need some log files to investigate your problem.
Could you send me them as described in this thread ?
Thanks.

BirdieSync only supports the official releases of Thunderbird, Lightning and Sunbird. Sorry, but presently, I don't think special versions will be provided to support the alphas or betas.
