yes - I had an e-mail too, just after my last post.
Birdy certainly does a good job of support. I wish others were as quick of the mark and as helpful.

Actually, I have noticed this morning that the license information only seems to be missing if I start Thnderbird and have not sync'd. As soon as I sync it appears. mrozenhart - what system are you using? I am using Vista and WMDC and I am guessing that because WMDC currently does not launch Thunder...

It seems it was a glitch in Vista. For some reason when I installed V1.5.2 (not V1.5.1.2 as I said in my previous post), for some reason TB still had V1.5.1.2. I deleted it and re-installed and it is OK now. However it still has the original problem of WMDC not launching TB and Birdiesync when it WM...

Problem with T/B V2
I installed Birdiesync V1.5.1.2 in TB V1.5 and it all worked OK. I then upgraded to T/B v2 and it reports that Birdiesync V1.5.1.2 is not compatible with TB. I tried re-installing it and it installs again with no error messages, but still reports it is incompatible. I am puzzled because others appea...

Support Par Excellence
I felt I had to publicly thank Birdie for a level of support in my experience not very often forthcoming from software providers. I had been using Birdiesync on an XP PC and decided to try it on a new Vista machine. I ran into problems and notified Birdy at the support e-mail address. Via numerous e...

I have 6 address books in Thunderbird, and they all sync properly to the PPC. Did you set the options in Thunderbird? - in the Tools menu open the Birdiesync options and check all the boxes in the 'Address Book' tab, and also check the box 'Link Address Book to Contact category'. I've added and dele...

Unlocking Orange Phones
For those wanting to use Birdiesync and using the Orange Network, here is a link to a site where you can enter your IMEI number and telephone number and receive a file from Orange to unlock the security on the phone. This is a free Orange Service and it works (I used it to unlock an SPV M600 to inst...

I have a question about synchronising the Device to 2 different PC's. How does Birdiesync know which address book is correct? For example: PC1 is sync'd with the PDA. The PDA is then sync'd with PC2 So all three have the same details. Later, whilst the PDA is connected to PC1 an address is removed i...
