Re: 3.1.0.0b1 unable to read Thunderbird contacts & events

After investigation with dwolma and klapanciusz, the problem should be fixed in version 3.1.0.0 beta 2.

Re: Nougat - Android 7 support

Hello mcstoned, The web site feature page might be a little late. :) The last version of BirdieSync app for Android already supports Nougat 7.1. Should you have any problem with your Android device, while your Android device is connected to be able to retrieved Android logs, use BirdieSync menu "Hel...

Re: Connection between Thunderbird & BirdieSync is cycling

Hello Mike,

Thank you for the detailed description of the problem. I had a look at the logs you sent to me. It may be caused by unwanted reconnections after the listing of all Thunderbird folders. I'll investigate to identify the reason of this behavior.

Re: 3.1.0.0b1 unable to read Thunderbird contacts & events

Hello dwolma,

While Thunderbird source is connected to BirdieSync server, could you please build a log archive with BirdieSync menu "Help/Archive logs..." then send BirdieSyncLog.zip to support(at)birdiesync.com ?

Thanks.

Re: After Update of a New Version 52.0 of Thunderbird

Hello Peter, For some reason, it seems that Thunderbird 52.0 can be installed with Thunderbird menu "?/About Thunderbird" although it is not officially available on Thunderbird web site. BirdieSync 3.1.0.0 beta 1 has been released which supports Thunderbird 52.0. Due to important changes in Mozilla ...

Release of BirdieSync 3.1.0.0 beta 1 (Thunderbird 52)

Version 3.1.0.0 beta 1 Caution: Due to important changes in Mozilla core technology on which Thunderbird is based, it was necessary to fully rewrite BirdieSync add-on in Thunderbird. Although this new add-on was heavily tested, it is highly recommended to backup your data. For more security, the pr...

Re: Very long sync times

Actually I usually prefer to get all possible information in logs and not clean them. Sometimes useful information can be found in the past. But it should be possible to directly edit the logs in the archive, however.

Re: Very long sync times

The fact that you use 2 different BirdieSync servers could potentially lead to additional resynchronizations but it may not be a normal behavior. Let's suppose that you synchronized your desktop Thunderbird with your Android device. If you then copy the Thunderbird profile on the laptop with a new B...

Re: Very long sync times

> I then copied that exact profile to a laptop and synchronized to the same android device(s). Birdie rewrote everything. Do you use the same BirdieSync server installed on the desktop, or do you use a new BirdieSync server installed on the laptop ? Do you often copy the Thunderbird profile director...

Re: Synchronize several Thunderbird Address Books with iPhone

If you wish to synchronize several address books in Thunderbird and be able to create new groups on the iPhone, then it would be necessary to select a non Exchange account as the default contact account on your iPhone, like "On My iPhone" or "iCloud". But note that if you do so, when you create a ne...

Re: Synchronize several Thunderbird Address Books with iPhone

Even if I couldn't see the address books that you set ON for your iPhone, I guess Main address book "No group" was set ON (synchronised with Main address book "berufliche Kontakte" in Thunderbird), and "Sonstige Kontakte" was set ON (synchronized with "Sonstige Kontakte" in Thunderbird). BirdieSync ...
