Since my purchase of BirdieSync I acquired a new phone but I think, as far as I remember, that it already worked with this one...

With the upcoming version 2.0 of SeaMonKey which will have a addon manager as Thunderbird, it could be possible to make BirdieSync SeaMonKey compatible as it also use the same type of extensions. After documenting a bit and asking on the dedicated forum, extending Seamonkey capabilities with addons is something perfectly possible ...

After having installed and tested it, great app, it appears that it is not possible to extend its functionalities with add-ons... So BirdieSync could not work with it I think ...
