Re: Upgrading my phone

One question on this matter: when changing mobile phones, do I need to reinstall BirdieSync from scratch or is there a way to install only the WM component on the phone?

Re: Request: Lower price

Sorry I was responding to vava's comments: "What I loose without sync is just ability to look through tasks and see alarms on my desktop computer but they still be there in PDA which is always with me anyway. 20 euros is a lot of money for that". Anyway, at the end of the day the question is: would ...

Re: Request: Lower price

Well as a customer I would always like to pay as little as possible  . I paid those 20 euros and it didn't hurt and I will tell you why. Windows mobiles don't come cheap, you are likely to pay at least 200 EUR or more. Paying another 20 to be able to sync with TB is a fair price in comparison....

Re: Request: Lower price

I agree that the price is just right. It is certainly not an easy task to write, maintain and support such an application, and this one is well written, properly maintained and excellently supported. I'm saying this despite the fact that I chose TB over Outlook because it was free, then I ended up r...

Re: Sunbird Birthday Reminder

As far as I know Sunbird does not connect to TB's address book at this stage, so it is unlikely that there would be such an add-on... Perhaps you want to try Lightning, it seems that eventually it would become part of TB by default anyway.

Re: Sunbird Birthday Reminder

There are two TB extensions which I use to solve this "problem": MoreFunctionsForAddressBook and Thunderbirthday. The first lets you add the birthday of each contact in the address book, while the second creates a calendar with the birthdays imported from the address book. Then all of this can be sy...

Thunderbirthsday and other extensions

I'm planning to install the Thunderbirthday and the MoreFunctionsForAddressBook extensions. I'm wondering if you have any experience with these extensions, would they work with BirdieSync? I'm not expecting you to try it, just in case you have some experience with these extensions please share them ...

Re: now that lightning 0.7 is supported, what about 0.8 ?

I would also appreciate support for Lightning 0.8, but I have to admit that waiting until the official 0.8 release appears would make sense. Now whoever is using 0.8pre is using nightly builds, which, well, change overnight... These daily changes in the code may affect the synchornisation process, t...

Support for non-ARM processors?

Hi, You must be getting tons of questions like this, so I apologise in advance... Anyway, I see that one of the requirements for BirdieSync is that the device must have an ARM processor. Currently I'm shopping around for a smartphone but I can't find one that I like with an ARM processor. I presume ...
