Birdie Sync Initialization Failure

Have Thunderbird 2.0.0.23 And a windows mobile 6.1 HTC phone.
Also using Lighting.

Had everything working for a year. then installed it also on my laptop.
But happened to use a newer version than the one installed in my office PC.

It upgraded the sw on my phone to 1.7.02

So then I tried to upgrade my home PC to 1.7.02 this has been unsuccessful. After Active sync starts thunderbird (successfully)
I get an error "Initialization Failure of Birdie Sync ThunderBird extension".

I uninstalled and reinstalled Birdie sync and that didn't work.

Any one have any ideas???

Hello davewhirlwind,

When you list Thunderbird add-ons (Tools/Add-ons), which version is displayed for BirdieSync ?
Is it marked as compatible ?
Is Thunderbird on-line or do you work off-line ?
