I tried syncing my MotoQ and Activesync did nothing after connecting. Then I checked thunderbird, but the BirdieSync Options was no longer shown in the Tools menu.

I uninstalled BirdieSync and upgraded to the latest version 1.5.3.0. Still no BirdieSync options...

Hello Grant,

There might be a problem with Thunderbird extension manager cache.

Before any operation, do backup your Thunderbird profile:
C:\Documents and Settings\<users name>\Application Data\Thunderbird\Profiles\<profile id>\
("Application Data is a hidden folder, check that you can see hidden files (in File Explorer options))

In the profile of Thunderbird: C:\Documents and Settings\<users name>\Application Data\Thunderbird\Profiles\<profile id>

Close Thunderbird
After having backuped the following files, delete them:
- extensions.cache
- extensions.ini
- extensions.rdf
- compreg.dat
- xpti.dat

Relaunch Thunderbird

Check if you can now access to BirdieSync options.

Didn't make a difference...

Tried all those changes, but still no options on the Tools menu.

BTW, the Add-ons choice does let me hit the Options button, but it locks up the Add-ons window and I have to kill the task with the Task Manager.

Oops...

I deleted the wrong profile. Found the correct one and now it works.

Thanks.
