Today, on my Windows Vista machine (Windows Vista Home Ultimate, 32bit), I downloaded and installed an update to Windows Mobile Device Center. Since then, I'm unable to sync with my mobile device using BirdieSync. Everything looks like it worked, no errors, ... However, my contact changes are NOT getting pushed to my device. I also notice that when I request a sync from the device, that the progress bar pops up and disappears very quickly (< 1 second.)

I've gone through all the configuration settings and everything appears to be fine. Has anybody else's sync'ing been broken by this recent Windows Mobile Device Center update?

PC: HP Pavillion dv8233cl
Mobile: T-Mobile Wing (yes, I know Windows Mobile 6 isn't "officially" supported, but it's been working fine since I got the device. It's only since the update got installed that it quit.

Hello,

Tests are presently done with WMDC 6.1 but it seems to work (even with 1.5.4.3) although there were slight modifications (without serious consequences) to be performed. Note that Microsoft has fixed some points that were raised. :) Now if the synchronization fails, an error is displayed in Sync Center (with the familar "attention required"), as well as some additional text during the synchronization.

No official tests were done with WM 6.0 but other users reported it was working fine.

As usual I will need some log files to investigate your problem.
Could you send them to me as described in this thread ? http://birdiesync.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=100

Could you also confirm that cards or events, etc. is well selected in WMDC options ?

Thanks,

I have sent email with the information you requested to support@birdiesync.com.

I have also verified that I have "Cards" and only "Cards" checked in my WMDC options panel. All I'm interested in is sync'ing one address book folder in my Thunderbird Address Book. I've also verified that that's the only thing checked in Thrunderbird's "Tools -> BirdieSync options..." dialog.
