Birdiesync works intermittently

I have been using Birdiesync for months without problem. I upgraded to TB2.0.0.4, Lightning0.5, Birdiesync 1.5.5.0, ActiveSync 4.5

Sometimes it syncs perfectly, other times I get a Birdiesync error message: mobile connection failure. I have to unplug and reconnect my WM5 pda several times to get a successful sync.

When it works, Birdiesync is a great product, and well worth the small fee.

Hope someone can help to get it sorted again.

Hello,

Does this problem only occured with the new version ?
If yes, do you remember which version you had before ?
This alert with "mobile connection failure" is a message introduced in last releases. Do you remember if you had an "attention required" error before from time to time when you connected your mobile ?

Right after the problem occurs, could you send me by email WCESMgr.log and DesktopProvider.log to me as described in this thread ?

I did get "attention required" occassionally. Can't remember which version I had before. It's working at the moment, but if I get more problems will email the log files.

I think the problem may have been due to me copying Thunderbird files onto another computer. Reloaded my calendars and and all is going well - synced every day for the last week without problems.
