Calendar works fine - Unable to sync Contacts!!

I have had a look about and cant seem to find it this way round - basically the calendar sync's fine, however for some reason the contacts havent found their way from the PDA to Thunderbird. I have lightening .5 installed and the latest birdiesync...
Any advise would be appreciated (new to this app...)

Hello Paul,
Did you select "cards" in ActiveSync/WMDC options ? (not "contacts" as it is for Outlook) ?

Hi Birdie,
Yup. Interestingly enough it seems to have sync'd by contacts from Thunderbird to the pda phone, however not the other way...
I'm also using vista, so accessing through WMDC...

Do you mean that the first time you synchronized your contacts, all the cards were transfered from Thunderbird to the mobile but not from the mobile to Thunderbird ?
Did you set particular options regarding address book synchronization (regarding categories) ?
