Hi,
I recently upgraded to Vista and also upgraded to Thunderbird 2.0 in the process. As a result it broke my current version of BirdieSync, so I thought I'd try and upgrade and this is where the problem comes.
I can't get the old version of BirdieSync off the PC. The install log has the following message
Local 07/09/2007 16:56:46::0364 ERROR: Impossible to shutdown processes (GetLastError = 5)
Local 07/09/2007 16:56:46::0399 ERROR: Impossible to shutdown the WMDC (GetLastError = 0)
So I've done some crazy stuff like uninstalling WMDC, trying to shutdown the activesync process, but no joy.
Any advice?
