ActiveSync cannot be installed on Vista

Hi every one.

I'm a french, brown hair, blue eyes, I'm fully in love with BirdieSync and I'm known to be a good guy.

Except when I cannot install something according to plan !

I already installed BirdieSync on my older computer (Windows XP) without any problem and I tried to do it with my new one (Windows Vista).

1 - Thunderbird install : OK
2 - Ligthning plugin : OK
3 - Download BirdieSync : OK (luckily !)
4 - Install ActiveSync : Error message : ActiveSync cannot be installed on Windows Vista.

Argh !
Is there a step I missed ?
Do I have to go to catch "Computer for dummies" ? (If I should avoid it...)

I just waited for this installation to get my license !

Please help me ! I'm completely BirdieSync addict !

OK, ActiveSync is replaced by Microsoft Windows Mobile Device Center available here :
