I've just installed Sunbird with access to a CALDAV server, and I'm trying to load my calendar by pulling in the entries from my Ipaq. The BirdieSync process runs through the items in the calendar, and comes up with XXX unresolved items. I click "Resolve items" , it runs through them again, and still comes up with the same result - XXX unresolved items.
- I just upgraded to ActiveSync 4.5
- Ipaq is a 4355, running PocketPC 2003
- Sunbird is version 0.7
- BirdieSync 1.6.3.0
- OS is Windows XP
- The Calendar under Sunbird is a network calendar, and is the default
ActiveSynch settings:
- "Tasks" is the only thing being sync'd
- Rules are "Always replace the item on this computer" and "Always replace the item on the server"
- "Enable synchronization with a server" is disabled
Everything's been disconnected, rebooted, reconnected, etc.
For every calendar event it tries to sync, the DesktopProvider.log shows a message with this error code:
Is all day = False
Sensitivity = Normal
Meeting status = Undefined
Is alarm set = False
Alarm offset = 0
Note = ''
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (GetLastError = 0)
Local 26/10/2007 22:20:35::0687 ERROR: Error returned by CreateObjectResponse,
The SunbirdService.log has these entries for each event:
Local 26/10/2007 21:56:29::0125 ERROR: An error occured returned in on complete, error = 0x80004005: (GetLastError = 0)
Local 26/10/2007 21:56:29::0187 ERROR: Impossible to create item (GetLastError = 0)
Local 26/10/2007 21:56:29::0234 ERROR: Error while creating Event object (GetLastError = 0)
Local 26/10/2007 21:56:29::0906 ERROR: An error occured returned in on complete, error = 0x80004005: (GetLastError = 0)
I also tested with tasks.
Any ideas?

Sync calendar from ipaq can't resolve items
New version 1.6.3.1 fixes some problems for calDAV calendar synchronization. Note that you must install new version of the patch too.
Synchronization was tested with Bedework and Chandler.
