Trouble Synchronizing Events

Post by jamespapp »

Let me start out by saying this is an excellent product! I have used it for a month now and have enjoyed not using Outlook at all.

I recently started suffering a problem with Events. I only sync Cards and Events with Thunderbird and it looks like the Cards are fine (as far as I can tell). When syncing Events, the process gets stuck at "1/5" or "2/6" both in the ActiveSync window on the desktop and the Activesync window on my TyTN II.

I have emailed my logs, etc. to your support email address. I look forward to hearing back from you.

That had to be the fastest support response I've ever received! Thank you!

...AND you hit the nail right on the head first time. The corrupted appointment in question, once removed, was obviously the cause of my problem. I am now syncing perfectly again.

Thank you very much for your speedy AND accurate support!

P.S. Just in case anybody else runs into something similar, I have included a chunk of my wcesmgr.log below. The appointment (or Event) in question was recurring but, apparently, just one occurrence was corrupted (it had no time, something a regular user could never have seen I guess).
