Support for non-ARM processors?

If BirdieSync 1.x constantly replaces your girlfriend's phone number with your mother's one, this forum is for you...

Support for non-ARM processors?

Post by giorgio »

Hi,

You must be getting tons of questions like this, so I apologise in advance...

Anyway, I see that one of the requirements for BirdieSync is that the device must have an ARM processor. Currently I'm shopping around for a smartphone but I can't find one that I like with an ARM processor. I presume there are, well "ARM-compatible" processors.

Do you know if BirdieSync would be compatible with devices using any of the following processors:

TI OMAP 850 (HTC Touch, T-Mobile MDA Compact-III)
Samsung S3C 2440 (E-TEN M600)

Thanks in advance!

Giorgio

Hello,

The processors you mentioned have an ARM architecture. So BirdieSync should be compatible with these mobile devices.
