All was well for 15 days or so

I successfully installed BirdieSync and all was well for 15 days or so, syncing to my Pocket PC. Then it stopped working. I figured it was because I hadn't registered my copy of BirdieSync, so I did that. Ended up uninstalling and reinstalling BirdieSync. Now I'm getting ActiveSync errors. Before I go into detail, are there any quick ideas on why it would have worked so well two weeks ago but not now?
