Re: Error with BirdieSynch

Hi,
I have a HTC Touch Cruise (Standard ROM), Windows Vista, Thunderbird 2.0 and the latest Lightening.
I have been running BirdieSynch fine for months but recently started getting errors saying it could not write to the preferences file. I tried to re-install over the top but got the same message re-installing.
I tried uninstalling, same message.
I un-installed the WM client and re-installed but no improvement.
I removed all files, all registry entries etc and tried a clean install. Same message.
I've searched on both the phone and the PC but can find no "preferences.xml" file.
Can you help please?
