Won't synchronize - get message "Options were modified"

Just installed BirdieSync and am receiving the pop-up message every time I try to synchronize that my options were modified and that I need to disconnect and reconnect my device. I do that and I keep getting the same message, and it won't synchronize with Thunderbird (Attention Required in ActiveSync). I'm using the latest version of T-bird and Activesync (4.5) on Windows X64. I unchecked the boxes that synchronize with Outlook, thinking that there might be a conflict, but that didn't do anything.

This problem should be fixed in 1.6.9.1 which has just been released.
