When synchronizing windows mobile 5 smartphone edition with lightning 0.3 my multi-day-events turn into all-day events spanning only over the originating day. Is this a known problem?

Yes, another user reported the same problem. All all-day events spanning over several days are converted to one single all-day event on the mobile.
For the moment, the workaround is to use events with times going from 00h00 to 23h59. That should work. This problem will be treated in next release.
