BirdieSync

I use BirdieSync with an XDA phone running Windows Mobile. Every time the synch starts, it gets through the cards in no time but then spends 30 minutes or more synch-ing the 600+ appointments on my calendar. Is this a bug, and is there a fix?

Which kind of calendar do you synchronize ? Local ? Remote (if yes which type) ?
