Birdiesync reports no categories selected ...but

Hi, has MS done something with Windows mobile? This morning (Feb 01) birdiesync reports (after running several month without problems) that no categories were selected to be synchronized. If I then go to Windows mobile device center and check cards, events, mails and tasks again birdiesysnc reports after a few seconds that the mobile device has lost connection and should be restarted.
After that the story starts again at the beginning....
Maybe they have updated the Sync center, I´m not sure, there were 2 urgent updates under vista 32 this morning.
