any chance to sync the u3 version of thunderbird?

That's a good question.
Do you know if u3 thunderbird accesses the user Thunderbird profile directly on the device (usb key) or if it is copied somewhere on the desktop disk each time the u3 Thunderbird is launched ?

Here is the link to the profile directory I found on the device
G:\System\Apps\699AACF9-31FB-4dec-A5B7-CE972EE2EFFB\Exec\Stealth\Thunderbird\tbprofile
where g: is of couse the u3 device.
the cryptic folder name is wher the u3p file is stored
Also will there be a way to sync address books as categories in pocket outlook?

Well, I ordered a u3 key to investigate on this question. I will inform you as soon as I have new information. Keep in touch...
Regarding the categories, could you describe me in a more precise way what you are interested in ? Select particular Pocket Outlook categories to be synchronized with Thunderbird ?
