Birdiesync on Linux ?

Post by cbhihe »

Hello,
Why is Birdiesync not available for Linux ?
The port should not be terribly difficult and the resulting application would probably meet with a lot of expectation.
May I suggest that the first port be for Tb under Lx to Android mobile ?
I for one would use it right away. Immediate acceptance !

@ Birdie: Could the Birdie team post a Sticky with its policy on that subject ?
Cheers.

Hello bhihe,

I'm aware that users would be interested in a Linux port and as mentioned before, some efforts have already been made to prepare a possible port. But at the moment the priority is given to the finalization of important evolutions in BirdieSync synchronization engine. Once achieved, it will be possible to see which new kind of data, devices or platforms it will be possible to support.
