a way to prevent data loss/ to warn the user?

hello,
(at 1st a note: switching board language to german at registering doesn't work).
i'm using birdiesync in the trial period. runs fine until now, but there is a BIG wish yet:
is it possible, to prevent kill important data (appointements), when synchronising to a new calender? i'm not sure, what went wrong. i had choosed the option "mobile device wins" to prevent such cases.
i remember too, that i choosed at the sync session before, in the old calendar, not to sync events, because i cleaned some of them on the mobile device and dont wanted to choose "combine with desktop". (active sync doesn't provide an "mobile device wins"-option in this case). the task were synchronized fine, but i synchronized them with the old calendar befor too.
perhaps this is too chaotic to understand the situation, sorry. but i know, that such data loss scenarios are possible, other users in ppc-welt.de-forums reported that.
i made a backup of my data before, but someone who didn't... .
coult you implement any feature that warns the user, that he's synchronizing his data into the great wide open?
that would make birdie sync even more secure than this r%(ยง$%)ing active sync... .
thanks and greets, kk
p.s.: the log of my last sync is attached now, anyway, if it helps or not:
