General Question

Post by Big Max Leo »

Hello, and thank you for usefull information found in this forum. I am about to move away from Outlook 2002, can you confirm that I am doing the right thing:
- Replace Outlook by Thuderbird 2 (for email) and Lighting (for calendar) and purchase BirdieSynch to synchronise TB and Lighting with a Smartphone.
I am using Vista. Thank you

Hello,

That should do the trick.

The only constraints you must be aware of are:
- Your smartphone must be application unlocked (looked at the sticky thread). Smartphone are very often locked while Pocket PC are not.
- Mail synchronization is for the moment only available for folders located under "Local folders".
