Upgrading my phone

I had a quick question about upgrading my phone. Will I need a new license?

Please note that I plan on getting a carrier unlocked phone and using the same SIM card in the new phone (Same phone number, etc.). Will that allow me to use the same license key with birdie sync that I use on my current phone? Or will I have to get a new license?

Thanks!

And keep up the great work, I love BirdieSync!

Hello,

You don't need to get a new license. By now if your mobile device is a Smartphone (not a Pocket PC), the main constraint is to check that it can be "application unlocked".

One question on this matter: when changing mobile phones, do I need to reinstall BirdieSync from scratch or is there a way to install only the WM component on the phone?

Hello giorgio,

If you wish, you can only install BirdieSync windows mobile part. You'll find more information in the FAQ on this page.
The FAQ is new.
