Error: Impossible to enumerate events on mobile device

I can't synchronize events - everything else works fine - the above error keeps coming up, specifying it was impossible to access 3 out of 143 items on the mobile device. I've tried resetting sychronization, no unresolved items are showing, tried restarting etc etc. I have managed to sychronize events successfully initially but this is the second time I have tried and it failed. I'm running Thunderbird 3 on Vista with an HP iPaq / WM5.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Hello frangipan,

After having closed Thunderbird/Sunbird, disconnected, reconnected your mobile device and waited for the end of the synchronization, could you send your logs with the Thunderbird/Sunbird menu "Tools/BirdieSync/Archive logs..." to support(at)birdiesync.com ?
Thanks.

Should I uninstall/reinstall Birdiesync to see if that solves it?

I don't think that it would be useful. The problem is not in BirdieSync but in Pocket Outlook. I sent you another mail with a possible solution to deal with the problem.

After I accidently closed Thunderbird during sync, I got the same problem.
BirdieSync tells me to delete an entry in my phone wich doesn't exist to
continue.
Thunderbird 3.1.11 on Windows 7 (64bit) and BirdieSync 2.3.3.1 on Android 2.3

Bought the app, solved it by re-installing on Android.

Hi, same problem here.

Before i updated to 2.3.8.0, everything worked perfect. Now i got the message as shown above. The contact synchronisation works, but not the event synchronisation.

I tried everythin, uninstall and reinstall birdie sync, delete the profiles on mobile and desktop, uninstall and reinstall the mobile-software, nothing works.

Is there a solution? Hopefully...

I am using birdie sync on a 32-bit windows 7 pc, my mobile is an hp ipay with windows mobile 2003.

Thank you for your support, Tom

I do have the same Problem.

Android 2.3.7
BirdieSync 2.3.8.0
ThunderBird 8.0

"Impossible to enumerate events on mobile device"

When enumerating events on mobile device, it was impossible to access to a specific event. (Privat / Geburtstag von ... 2011-11-27 01:00 - <null date>). Please remove this item and relaunch the synchronization.

THAT EVENT DOESN´T EXIST!!!

Hello Tom & Stefan

Could you please send the logs to support(at)birdiesync.com ?

If you have an Android device (not necessary for Windows Mobile), first, transfer the mobile device log to the desktop with "Help/Transfer mobile device log" while your mobile is connected.
Then build the log archive BirdieSyncLog.zip with BirdieSync menu "Help/Archive logs...".
You can send BirdieSyncLog.zip to support(at)birdiesync.com.
Thanks.

@Stefan: according to the short description of the event, it seems that for some reason the end date of the event is null. Which is not normal. Maybe it causes a problem when reading the event. Do you know how this event was created on the Android device ? Just to be sure, could you confirm that the calendar "Privat" (if it's the name of your calendar) is well selected to be displayed in your calendar application ?

After deleting all (!) created copies of contacts, synchronizing several times and deleting and creating the birthday of ... new (birthday 27.11.1980, every year, alarm 12 hours ago) there is no error message any more.

If you want to produce the same error: create a birthday and synchronize. Then change the date of that birthday on f.e. mobile device.

Then the error occours.

Can´t send an error message so.

Hi, I have the same problem! Android 2.3.x.x, Thunderbird 7.0, BS 2.3.5.1
It says the the event has date "zero"
Is there another way around this problem w/o deleing all created recurring events?

BTW: Seems the trouble begins with the first entry of the recurring event. I deleted it both on Mobiel and PC but alas no synch possible. :( :?:

On the Android device, BirdieSync version 2.3.4.1 is installed. Could you please update your BirdieSync version for Android to the last one available on the Android Market ? (2.3.7.0)
Also, since your are still using Thunderbird 6.0, please update the desktop version to the latest version of BirdieSync available for Thunderbird 6.0: version 2.3.5.2. This version will support the last version of BirdieSync for Android.
http://www.birdiesync.com/download
Do you have the same problem after upgrading to these newer versions ?
If yes, could you send the logs again to support ?
Thanks.
