BirdieSync

Hi,

is it required to uninstall BirdieSync to ugdate from 2.0.0.0 to 2.0.0.1? If so: is it required on PC and Phone? Are the settings preserved?

When there are small evolutions, it is generally not necessary to uninstall BirdieSync before installing the next version (for instance switching from 2.0.0.0 to 2.0.0.1) unless you have a portable version of Thunderbird in which case it is recommended to follow the procedure described here. The mobile device part of BirdieSync is automatically uninstalled before installing the new one. Preferences are not altered. So it can be very quick to update your version. But don't forget to regularly backup your data as described in this FAQ topic !
