Disconnet while syncing mails (resolved)

After installation of ver 2.0.1.0 (and did not change with 2.0.1.1) AND a try at syncing sms (successful but they were too many and did clog the smart folders of TB, so removed) I'm now facing the problem that Birdiesync interrupts the connection while syncing mails.
It works nicely if syncing only contacts, calendar and events, but if I activate mail syncing it starts the job and in the middle of it it says:
"Communication failure with the mobile device. The communication failed with the mobile device. Please disconnect and reconnect your mobile device"
If you deactivate mail syncing it starts working nicely again...
any suggestions?
